Here are the different party make-up ideas as per your complexion:

The good news is that with fair skin, you're able to experiment different colour combinations that run the gamut from sweet and girly to mysterious and sexy. However, with fair skin, blemishes are easily visible and you cant hide them naturally.
Kareena Kapoor opted for the simple, girly look and we second her.

Kohl-Heavy Eyes

Nothing over the top,yet perfect seductive, it's a great make-up trick.
  • Apply a cream based concealer over your eyelids to create a smooth base. Then, using a kohl liner draw your eye contour.
  • Use a brush to smooth in a dark eye shadow, blending it upwards and outwards.
  • Brush in lighter shade of neutral eye shadow, such as ivory, over your browbone. Finish off with some mascara.

Baby Pink Lips

Keep it as natural as possible and go with soft pink shade of lipstick.
  • Apply a thick coat of lip balm and let it soak for sometime.
  • Outline your lips with a pink lip liner and fill in with a natural pink or peach shade of lipstick. Finish off with some shiny gloss.

Rosy Cheeks

Use a pink-toned concealer, instead of a yellow-toned one, to avoid looking pale.
  • Apply a coat of tinted moisturizer to hydrate your face and use some concealer.
  • Brush in a natural pink, plum or peach blusher on your cheekbone to complete the look.

If you are blessed with a wheatish skin tone, there is absolutely no limitations to what colours you can use and what you can't.
Deepika Padukone has opted for the catty eye and fuchsia lips look because it is versatile and effortless. Use a soft bronze to get the shimmery effect to achieve this look.

Catty Eyes

All you need is steady hands to draw the winged edges.
  • Brush some nude eye shadow on your eyelids and under your eye to create a base.
  • Use a liquid eyeliner and starting at the inner corner, drag the brush along the lashline to the outer end.

Fuchsia Lips

Bold and beautiful is the trick this party season.
  • Apply a layer of lip balm, let it soak and then brush some concealer over your lips to make the base.
  • Carefully draw out your lips with a pink lip liner and then fill in with a matte hot pink lipstick, starting at the outer corner and moving inwards.

Bronzed Face

The shimmery look goes very well with wheatish skin tone.
  • Apply a coat of concealer on your moisturised face to soak up the excess oil and create a base.
  • Using a brush, apply a little bronzer on your forehead, down the nose and on the apples of your cheek.

Dusky skin tone is the perfect canvas for the metallic shades like gold, bronze, deep brown and smoky black. Mute the lips with a coral or pink shade and use a concealer with an orange undertone and voila! You have the Bipasha Basu look.

Smoky Eyes

  • Make a smooth base on your eyelids with a cream concealer and apply a dab of a dark, matte eye shadow (black or dark brown) along the curvature of your eyeball. Blend it with a cotton pad.
  • Use a separate brush and apply a light highlighting eye shadow over your browbone and smudge the edges.

Nude Lips
